Each painting is the result of weeks, months and sometimes years of overpainting. I use chance, spontaneity and improvisation, but paint over more than I leave in.

I broke out of the rigid structure imposed by the masking taped lines and diagonals of the Golden Section and also used glazes of thin paint to reveal what was underneath.
